Eryri National Park stands out as an icon of British landscape. Formed 450 million years ago on the seabed after an intense period of volcanic activity, Eryri is in many ways a story of time. Shaped by glaciers during the last glacial maxima gives us the landscape we see today, that of rugged mountain peaks, deep valleys and large lakes.

For me my fascination with this area comes from my love the rich geological history and how this brings to light a connection to deep time.

It is lost in the mountains where I can escape the pressures of society and revert my mind to a shared state of consciousness, one of my ancestors, roaming a landscape free of modernalities.

In this collection I will explore the history, geology and my connection to the mountains as I have wondered the mountain ranges of Eryri, chasing sunlight and clouds, lost in a primal world.
